ENGIE EV Flex Charge Plus

Eligibility Criteria

  • To be eligible, you must be referred to ENGIE by our partner Leaselab.
  • You must have an electric vehicle, either fully electric or plug-in Hybrid.
  • You must have a smart meter.

Thanks to ENGIE, it’s even easier to go further with your EV. 

ENGIE has over 200 EV charge points as part of the Chargefox network, which is expanding to 1000 by 2025. These charging points will be within 10km of 80% of the Australian population so you know you can rely on ENGIE when you’re on the go.

Our energy plans are certified by Climate Active

ENGIE offers carbon neutral energy plans certified by Climate Active.  This certification means that by signing up for one of our new plans, well offset the carbon emissions generated from your energy usage.

Climate Active was established as a partnership between the Australian government and businesses to drive voluntary climate action.

Frequently asked questions

How is the 10c per kWh credit applied to my rates?

We’ll credit you back 10c per kWh for your usage between 12am to 6am AEST. The discount will be applied as a credit on your bill. For example, if you use 100kWh during 12am to 6am AEST, you’ll receive a $10 credit on your bill. 100kWh x 10c = $10.

How long is my voucher valid for?

3-years from date of activation.

I'm trying to activate my charging pack but there are 2 ENGIE offers in the app, which one do I choose?

If you have signed up for the ENGIE EV Flex Charge Plus plan, you need to choose this in the app to activate your charging pack. Your activation code can be found in the email sent to you from ENGIE with a subject line 'Chargefox activation code'.

Can I transfer my voucher to my friend's Chargefox account?

No, vouchers are not refundable, not transferrable and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash or other gift products. 

How can I monitor my charge pack usage?

Follow the steps in viewing your charge pack usage. 

  1. Open the Chargefox app
  2. Tap My Profile
  3. Scroll down to Member Programs 

You will see the amount of usge you have remaining and the expiry of your offer under Your Usage. 

How is the bonus 1,000kms of bonus public charging calculated?

*This is based on 15kWh/100km^1 average consumption for the top 10 EV’s sold in Australia in 2023^2. For a 300kWh charging pack, this would equal 2,000kms.
