Emergencies, power outages and faults

If your power has gone out, or there’s an electrical or natural gas fault or failure, you’ll need to contact your local electricity or gas distributor.

Your distributor is responsible for the supply of energy to your property. They maintain and operate the poles and wires, gas pipes, and connections.

Your electricity or gas distributor details will depend on where your property is located. You can find the 24-hour assistance number for your distributor at the top of your ENGIE bill.

Don’t have your bill handy? The 24-hour emergency contact numbers for all electricity and gas distributors are listed below. Click on your state of residence to find your distributor details.

  • Do not turn on lights or electric appliances.
  • Move away from the affected area before using a landline or mobile phone.
