Request a credit refund
If your energy account is in credit, you can request a refund of the excess amount. Your account may be in credit if you’ve overpaid or generated more solar feed-in credits than your usage. You can check if your account is in credit by looking for “CR” next to your account balance on page one of your bill.
How to request a credit refund
Call us on 13 88 08. We’re available Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm AEST.
Refund timeframes depend on your original payment method:
- Credit card or PayPal: up to 3 business days
- Bank account: up to 4 business days
- BPAY: up to 14 business days
Your refund will be processed using the same method you used to make the payment. If you paid via AusPost, CentrePay, solar credits or another method, your refund can be paid to your bank account.
