How to close or cancel your energy account with ENGIE

To close or cancel an energy account, you’ll need to call us on 13 88 08 Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm (AEST). This helps avoid ongoing charges after you leave, issues with final bills, or your supply being disconnected at the wrong time.

What happens after you cancel?

Once your account is closed, a final meter read will be arranged where required. You’ll receive a final bill or refund, and any remaining credits will be applied or refunded.

Please note: the distributor’s daily service charges will apply if the property still has a meter installed, even if it isn't being used.
