Australian Government confirms funding for ENGIE’s hydrogen projects in Victoria and Western Australia

ENGIE’s ambition to lead the development of the renewable hydrogen industry in Australia has taken a couple of big steps today, with confirmation of Australian Government funding support of:

 

  • $42.5million for a renewable hydrogen plant to produce renewable ammonia with Yara Pilbara. The facility will be one of the world’s first industrial-scale renewable hydrogen production operations.
  • $32.1m to support the delivery of a new hydrogen blending project in Wodonga, known as Hydrogen Park Murray Valley, with Australian Gas Infrastructure Group.
