We recognise that welcoming a new child into your family is one of the most significant life changes you will experience. Eligible team members can access paid Primary or Secondary Carer’s parental leave at either full or half pay in addition to payments received under the Australian Government’s ‘Parental Leave Pay’ scheme.
Caring for your loved ones
ENGIE recognises that Carer’s relationships, roles and needs are diverse. Whether you are returning to work from parental leave, parenting at all stages of children’s lives, caring for elders or for persons with a psychological or physical disability we’re here to support you.
We recognise that a diverse and inclusive culture is vital to leading the transition to a zero-carbon economy. Our commitments to Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging guide how we lead, make decisions, attract, develop and retain team members, engage with our customers and create a workplace culture that reflects the diversity of our customers and the communities in which we operate.

Be part of the clean energy transition
In 2016, we made the decision to close the Hazelwood Power Station, in line with ENGIE’s global strategy to exit coal-fired generation and to lead the transition to clean energy.
It is a great time to be joining the ENGIE team, as we embark on a period of exciting new renewable energy projects and continue our journey to net zero.
Watch the video below to see how we are transforming the Hazelwood site.
